Since 2011, Rime has been designing wedding dresses, by being part of this new generation who decided to shake the traditional wedding codes, and to bring style and attitude in very static & conventional industry.
Trained at the prestigious Chambre Syndicale de la Couture de Paris, Rime took her first steps with the queen of knits in 2004, Sonia Rykiel, who left her forever print on her vision of eternal Parisian, this "effortless, boyish yet sophisticated woman." A vision that will inspire her as a prophecy. Rime envisions the man who will stand next to his bride in their lifetime, with a gown that is somehow sensual and erotic.
We feel this sensual vibe in her collections, but also through her muses of yesterday and today: Kate Moss, Romy Schneider, Lauren Hutton, Zoe Kravitz, Vanessa Paradis, Bardot, Birkin ... very different women but who all have in common to have lived their lives with great freedom. The Rime woman is a feminist & a modern goddess. Self-confidence remains the best accessory that her RIME ARODAKY Babes possess.
All RIME ARODAKY's pieces are designed in Paris and they are brought to life by the hands of our couturières.
Lace, macramé, organza, crepe… All are iconic fabrics of the Maison. Rime and her team of experts choose the best Italian and French textiles from local suppliers to create beautiful pieces.
In 2015, she decided to extend the brides experience by designing a unique second look collection for her brides. Jumpsuits and short dresses were created to follow her brides on their love journey: bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, civil ceremony, second dress, bridal brunch party... All the trousseau became accessible via its website www.shop.rime-arodaky.com as well as the famous Net-A-Porter website.
In October 2016, RIME ARODAKY extended to the international market, presenting for the first time her collection during New York Bridal Week. After its presentation, RIME ARODAKY expanded its international presence through long-term partnerships with bridal boutiques. London, New York, Dublin or Germany showcase the woldwide presence of the brand.
Rime’s commitment to animals is evident throughout all her collections and is part of the brand’s core values. On 2015 Rime Arodaky took a stand and decided to go cruelty free, by not using any animal skin, nor elements tested on animals (no wool, feathers, fur, silk, leather…) in the making of her creations.
RIME ARODAKY only works with suppliers and partners who share its vision of a cruelty-free business model. Rime believes that it is very important to be conscious about the way we consume nowadays, and aims to spread the message with her brides.
The Maison works hard to be more transparent and become a honest innovative company inspiring others to do the same.
